Thank you!! Something original in the horror genre complete with unique use of colour visually and an interesting story set in Victorian-era England. I love seeing Olivia Cooke (well known for Bates Motel) using her native speaking voice and acting in tandem with Bill Nighy, who is so incredibly versatile. Whilst this isn't a perfect film, it certainly is well acted, well shot and held my attention. I wonder why this isn't in featured films? Thank you, uploaders.

Saw this at the cinema and really enjoyed it, it's a nice break from recent horror. It's a good story and the detail in the period costume, setting everything was gorgeous. It's my favourite era of London for film and it definitely done it justice. Overall a great film, I thought, should be in the featured category

Enjoyable Gothic whodunit set in Victorian London. If you liked the movie 'From Hell' or the series 'Ripper Street' then you're probably like this. Nicely acted and keeps you guessing. I also wouldn't class it as a horror movie, although it does have a few grisly moments.

I would not classify this as a horror film but it was a decent period mystery. The cast was believable and the sets were convincing. A good watch overall.

Great F****n Movie!!! Personally, we are very selective when weatching this type of flicks and this is a 9.4 out of 10! Great Historical Act & Superb acting and cinematography with Genuine touch of Reality and expectancy of the late 19th century..No expenses are spared..Bravo!

What can I say?...this movie is a very predictable piece of Gothic nonsense,a la Jack the Ripper, dressed in great period costumes and played in gloomy dark surroundings for atmospheric mood...usual acting from Bill Nighy as it ever was, nothing special with rest of cast...nearly fell asleep 2 or 3 times, not impressed by the much anticipated gore, blood squirting and final twist of events...boring and contrived story, good if you suffer from insomnia...4/10.

Wow... this is by far a better Movie than what is in the Theaters right now... What a Great Gothic Victorian Era Movie... Thats is well worth the watch. - Great acting & a great cast - That left me completely surprised - In a really good way - This was very well done for a movie that was immediately released to On Demand / DVD, - This was well worth the time I spent watching it...

I didn't have a problem with this mystery. It was a well-made film but the killer was certainly not a surprise. I kinda liked the ambience of the setting. I watched it on a late night viewing so not sure if I want to watch it again?

Good acting but soooooo predictable! I knew who the killer was in the first 20 minutes.

I liked it. I LOVE Bill Nighy always. Olivia Cooke is meh. But I liked the story and, forgive me being totally naive, but I was surprised at the end too. London was so nasty back then. I would have loved it.

The Limehouse Golem is a beautiful mess. I love the set pieces. I love the acting, especially Bill Nighy, who infuses his homosexual inspector with true vigor and grace. And the cinematography is quite stunning. *SPOILER ALERT* Where Limehouse Golem falters is in its mystery. It feels needlessly complex and convoluted. Granted, this is -- at its core -- a mystery built the unreliable narrator. Who can you trust when the one telling the story may be wrong, on purpose or not? Here this plays out in spades. The way the mystery unraveled on the screen -- with lengthy flashbacks that sometimes even confused me as to whether we were watching what was now happening or what had happened -- clouded the entire mystery. There were also strands of the mystery that seemingly were abandoned -- the idea that the murderer was in a way preaching with his/her victims (a la Se7en). But where Limehouse was truly saved was in that final, delectable twist at the very end. It was what I initially suspected, but the movie so convinces the viewer that the final answer was all wrapped up that the final revelation became a devilish surprise. Regardless of these faults, Limehouse Golem is a real genre highlight of the 2017 cinema season.

A period piece psych thriller similar to the movie Se7en. Very satisfying!

Could of been great, Bill does some great acting but this film decided unfortunately to concentrate too much on gore (and nudity) when they had a chance to concentrate on character development. Not as predictable as some are suggesting. 6/10

This was awesome ! I loved it so much that I'm going to watch it again for that ending. Just all around mystery whodunit and very entertaining. Those characters, the time setting, wardrobe all lovely wonderful. So satisfying really :) 5/5

It works better as a Gothic character story than as a serial murder mystery and it would have worked a lot better as a character story with an actress who could, you know, act. Cooke is way out of her depth here and it undermines what the tense grimy atmosphere and the unusual narrative structure are striving to achieve. 2.5/5 for ambiance and Bill Nighy

The ending was completely predictable but it was still an enjoyable watch.
